I'm going to tell you.

Michaela is a storyteller.

She actually teaches storytelling with them off.

And over the years, I've heard her tell stories around New York, in bars and black box

theaters.

Stories about third graders embroiled in recess warfare, about ill-fated romances on Avila

in Calabria.

Not being very good at German folk dancing.

But there's one story I'd never heard her tell until recently, just a couple weeks ago,

in fact.

Michaela was invited to a middle school in Queens to tell the story of her grandma.

What I want to do is help you get to know this woman.
