So today's episode is the second half of the transition to ownership phase of development

and writing, which we covered last time.

This stage of growth focuses on 13 to 14 year olds or the 8th and 9th grades.

So what did we discuss last time?

Well, as an overview, we looked at the ways that you could understand that your child had moved

from sort of the factual side of existence, the logic side, and is slowly becoming more of a rhetorical thinker.

Noah, you and I discuss the Powerful Association of Ideas in some depth,

which is what led us to splitting this into two podcasts.

Today, we're going to pick up where we left off.

Basically, what I was doing was going over

the various exercises that you'll find in either Kids Right Intermediate, the online. the

on online class or the first half of the home study course help for high school.

So are you going to talk about any more of the exercises?

Well, actually, let's look at one more because I think it's especially key to this stage of development.

And then I'll let you explore the others if you take the class or read the manual yourself.

But the one that I do want to look at is sort of the centerpiece of this stage of development.
