Summary
The real story of True Detective is the Hosanna Church nightmare. Set against the backdrop of rural Louisiana exists the real life grisly crimes against children of Louis Lamonica Jr, Austin Trey Bernard & up to 6 other adults all under the guise of Faith....but their Faith was not to God....but to Satan. Many Satanic Panic stories have been proven to be exaggerated or false but the proof of this horrific story came straight from the mouths of the perpetrators in detailed confessions & from the first hand account of Army veteran J.P. Willie who's book "Blood In The Woods," documents growing up in that little Louisiana town & witnessing the bizarre happenings & aura of fear that knifed through the town.
