February 23rd. We start with some breaking news just into CNN. The

University of Georgia says a suspect has been taken into custody in

connection with the murder of one of its nursing students. The University said

there are no indications of a continuing threat to campus at this time.

President Joe Biden says he's speaking with top allies about supporting Ukraine,

ahead of the two-year mark of Russia's invasion.

The call comes as Biden announced new sanctions on more than 500 Russian entities and 90 individuals.

The White House says the packages quote,

just the start of America's response to the death of Russian opposition

leader Alexi Nivani. Biden says he'll, quote, continue to do everything he can to support Ukraine,

even as a foreign aid bill remains stalled in Congress due to Republican opposition.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zolinsky

during a visit to the country, also urging the House to pass funding in a press conference today.

Unfortunately, the House is still not made up their minds and one of the reasons, the main reasons

we've come here is to help them make up their minds. We have heard from so many that if you don't get the aid, you

lose the war, but if you get the aid you will win the war.

Alabama's attorney general's office says it has, quote,

no intention to prosecute IVF families or providers.

This comes in the wake of the state's Supreme Court ruling this week

that frozen embryos are children under state law
