Former President Donald Trump says he will not participate in another presidential debate.

He made the announcement on truth social, where he railed against Vice President Kamala Harris and

President Joe Biden.

Harris's campaign had called for another debate after the face off on ABC earlier this week, and the

VP reiterated that during a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Democratic nominee

kicked off her new way forward tour through swing states today while Trump rallied voters in Arizona.

Polls in battleground states indicate the raises they are very close, perhaps the closest in recent memory.

CNN's Jeff Zellini underscores why these states matter.

Pennsylvania is the biggest battleground of all with 19 electoral votes.

However, if you lose Pennsylvania and if you win either North Carolina or Georgia plus one more state that can make up for a loss in Pennsylvania.

But the Harris campaign believes winning North Carolina above and beyond can block Trump's path to 270.

Now to new developments in two of Donald Trump's cases. Today a judge threw out three charges in the Georgia election

subversion case including two charges that the former president is

facing. The decision hasn't been formally applied to Trump because his case has

been paused pending appeals.

In a separate ruling, the Fulton County judge upheld a racketeering charge in the case,

which Trump is also facing.

Separately, a federal appeals court denied Trump's effort to delay his sentencing and his criminal hush money trial because the New York State judge already postponed the sentencing until after the election.

Trump appealed after a federal judge denied his request to move

the state case into federal court. His lawyers wanted the appeals court to step in

to put the case on hold. A North Dakota judge has struck down a law banning nearly all abortions in the state.
