Israel's military told CNN that it struck what it said was a Hezbollah military compound in southern Lebanon

after the concluded 20 rockets into anti-tank missiles fired toward Israel came from

Lebanon earlier today that's after Israel also said it killed a high-ranking Hezbollah missile commander

in an air strike on Friday. While visiting Israel's Northern Command Israeli Defense Minister

Yovgalan said, quote, wherever we need to act, we will act.

CNN's Melissa Bell talked about what this means

about Israel's intentions.

Israel intends, the IDF intends, henceforth,

not just to protect itself from Hezbollah but to pursue it actively.

The fear amongst American officials, what we're hearing is that Israel seems to think there's a level just beneath a full-scale offensive.

The United States does not and there's extreme concern about what a Hezbollah response

might be. For the time being, the group has not seemed intent on ratcheting other pressure or engaging in a full-scale

war with Israel.

Meanwhile, according to a UN-backed report, Palestinians and Gaza are suffering from severe hunger due to Israel's actions in the territory,

the UN's top court has ordered Israel to allow aid into the country, quote, without delay

and to preserve evidence of alleged genocide.

As assistant trickles in to address the damage left by the Baltimore Bridge

collapse, there is one thing Maryland Governor Westmore knows for sure about the recovery efforts.
