House Republicans' impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden for an alleged family bribery scheme is appearing to take some hits this week.

That's because federal prosecutors say an indicted ex-FBI informant made up the accusations that have been central to the impeachment probe.

They allege Alexander Smyrnaov told the FBI the information he got on Hunter Biden

and his business dealings overseas came from Russian intelligence officials
