House Republicans' impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden for an alleged family bribery scheme is appearing to take some hits this week.

That's because federal prosecutors say an indicted ex-FBI informant made up the accusations that have been central to the impeachment probe.

They allege Alexander Smyrnaov told the FBI the information he got on Hunter Biden

and his business dealings overseas came from Russian intelligence officials

and that it was false information.

CNN's Lauren Fox says more on why House Republicans wanted to talk to the

president's brother today.

And what Republicans are trying to do is tie James Biden and Joe Biden directly together and specifically try to show that

Joe Biden benefited not just financially but was involved in his brother's business

dealings but James Biden testified to the opposite of that

the lead Democrat on the House Oversight Committee Jamie Raskin says enough is enough

This impeachment investigation is nothing but a wild goose chase that is based on Russian

disinformation and propaganda.

Hunter Biden is expected to show for his closed-door interview next week.

Boeing is making some changes to who is running the show

when it comes to the 737 Max Passenger Jet Program.

That's after the dramatic and terrifying incident last month when a door plug blew off mid-flight during an

Alaska Airlines flight. Among the changes, Boeing announced Ed Clark, the head of the 737

Max program, would be departing. Two models of Boeing jets are still grounded and under investigation following last month's incident.

A preliminary report by the National Transportation Safety Board found that the four bolts that should have held the door plug in place were

missing when the plane left Boeing's factory.
