President Joe Biden proposed major changes to the Supreme Court.

During an event in Austin, Texas today,

he called for a constitutional amendment

taking away a president's immunity for crimes committed

while in office, term limits for justices,

and a binding code of conduct for the High Court.

I have great respect for our institutions and the separation of power is laid out in our

Constitution. What's happening now is not consistent with that doctrine?

The constitutional amendment would be next to impossible to gain approval before Biden's

term ends, and the other reforms face an uphill battle in Congress.
