I want to talk about what, well, just some lessons, some lessons that you might want to

pass along to some people that are about to tie the knot, some newlyweds, if you will.

What would it be like if you could start out that life together with some ground rules,

with a solid financial foundation, not meaning you're rich by any stretch, you might be dreadfully

poor as Julian and I were, but with a blank slate, a clean slate.

And we wrote a fantastic blog post and by we, I mean Rachel, wrote this amazing blog post

where we walk through six lessons that Rachel wishes she had learned as a newlyweds.

I love the way she, she just kind of laid it out there, one, and we've talked about this

a lot in the podcast, one of you may gravitate more toward the nerd side, the CFO side,

the household CFO is Rachel calls it and it's just kind of like who's going to pay the bills,

who's going to pay what bills, who's going to just determine the investing, who's going

to learn, who feels a propensity to learn more about investing, that may, that may come

up, who is going to handle insurance, are both you're going to do it, are one of you

going to do it, you just got to talk these things to, who files the taxes, which poor

soul, feels so inclined to fill out all those forms.

So one of you may just gravitate and that's not that one person handles all of it.

Just are there components of the CFO type things that one of you feels more inclined to handle.

For some reason, Julie has handled paying the life insurance bills for, well, almost
