As up today,

today,

approximately 5.5 billion people across the whole planet have received some form of the COVID vaccine, with about 2.5 billion having not received the vaccine.

Numbers like these, they represent not only the biggest pharmaceutical push in world history,

but also it presents a really right opportunity for data analytics.

With about 70% of the world's people having taken a new

particular drug, researchers can now go in, parse the data, and see whether there

were any differences at a society-wide level between those who took it and those who did not.

And so along that line, eight days ago, a large multinational peer-reviewed study was published

over in the pages of the Vaccine Medical Journal.

Its title is COVID-19 vaccines and adverse events of special interest,

a multinational global vaccine data network cohort study

of 99 million vaccinated individuals.

This was a study conducted by researchers over in Canada and as the title of the paper alludes to,

this was a study looking at approximately 99 million vaccinated people in eight countries around the world.

Specifically, these people were from the following nations.

Argentina, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, New Zealand, as well as Scotland.

For research purposes, this represents a rather healthy mix because for one, 99 million

records is a significant data pool to be able to draw from, but then also, secondly, these 99 million individuals from eight different countries, they represent four separate continents.
