We received a lot of feedback. Had a lot more downloads than I expected.

I got to say things are going great so far. But yeah, we had a lot of really encouraging comments.

We had some criticism too. And we had some questions about Alisa Lam and some of the things in that episode.

So today we're going to address those questions, trying to respond to some of the feedback we got, good and bad.

I think we can kind of divide this up into two discussions, one about Alisa Lam itself.

And then go to the more general questions about the podcast and about us.

I'll start off by saying this. I've been involved in sort of the true crime community for a long time.

But it's always been as a listener and as someone who, when I go to Reddit, when I go to web sleuths,

it's usually to try and find out more information about the case.

So I didn't know about, I guess, some of the controversies in the true crime community.

It's kind of like the difference between history and his geography where one studies have passed and one studies the study of the past.

So I guess this is a little bit kind of like the latter.
