Welcome to episode

Well, welcome to episode six of the podcast.

Apologies, it's slightly delayed this month, but we are actually sat in your conservatory mark,

aren't we?

Yeah, it certainly are.

It's a lovely day today and we thought we're getting sober having to be on the bank freezing our feet off.

Yeah, I think the weather's been so cold. I've actually been saving my fishing credits.

You know, it's getting to that time. The sun's kind of peeking through your glass conservatory.

It feels warm in here but it's bitterly cold, isn't it?

Yeah, the sun's now, it doesn't get the sun in the winter of the garden, but you can just

see now the sun's getting higher in the sky slightly and before we know it, that little

corner of the garden is going to get a bit of sun.

Then the dog will be over there in that spot for the rest of the day, most days.

It's just, yeah, the signs that springs on this way, which is good.

Certainly. I think as anglers, we all get a bit enthusiastic, don't we? Desperately to,

you know, desperately want to get the rods out. And I think sometimes I've had it myself

where my enthusiasm's taken over, but actually in my heart of hearts, I know the reality

are probably trying to carve a bite out in these

bitterly cold conditions experience tells me it's going to be bloody hard work yeah everyone jumps

the gun don't they as soon as the sun's out like today yeah it's a lovely day out there but you

go I went I took the dog for a walk this morning and my god it was absolutely freezing cold and

you just think yeah this is not going to be the one today.
