And today, we are rewinding back to June 6th, 2019, which doesn't sound that long ago, but

it's more than six years.

It's kind of crazy, isn't it?

Anyway, the original episode was six basic guns that cover

99% of what anyone needs. It was a very interesting convoluted email that caused this from a

gentleman named James. It was looking to buy a new gun and he was all over the map. And, you know,

even though I poked a little bit at him, I said during the original episode and in the write-up for it every dude in the world does this every dude in the world does this you start out like well i need to get a good gun i you know they say that the most accurate thing out there today is the six five randle i don't have one maybe i should get one of those. But, you know, I already have a deer rifle.

And I don't think the 6-5 is really up to the task of taking an elk, even though you could do it. I mean, O'Connor did it with a 7-mouser. Maybe I should get a 7-magm. Because that way I would be able, if I go other places, I'd be able to take that out. and but you know I don't really go very many places but but the 6-5, you can get that an AR platform,

and then that would be a different thing, and that'd be really cool.

Maybe that's what I should do. I should go to the forum and find out what the guys think about it, but I always like lever guns, too. And if I got one of those in 4570, man, I don't put anything on the ground. The clerk finally comes over and the guys like, that 357 there you have a revolver.

You anything like that in a 44. I mean, it's just how we are. Especially once you, like, when you're buying a couple guns and you don't really have any yet, maybe you got a 22, like, okay, you know you need a shotgun in like a deer rifle and then maybe an AR right like you're good up to

about that point well i need a handgun i should have a carry gun and maybe one for the nightstand

uh it's a little bit larger frame because i ain't worried about carrying it okay and then it just it just

go from there you know there's a bunch of surplus stuff comes in and man man, there's going to be a once-in-a-lifetime

opportunity to buy them, you know? I mean, I should have bought some of those other things back in the day. Jack talks about how you could buy them 30 carbines back when he was a kid for under 100 bucks, and nobody did it, and now they're thousands of dollars, and just not that long ago you could buy case
