Former President Donald Trump targeted undocumented immigrants while he was campaigning this weekend.

They're poisoning the blood of our country. That's what they've done.

That language caused outcry because of its ties to white supremacist rhetoric,

and President Joe Biden's campaign compared it to the

language used by Hitler in Nazi Germany. Trump outlined his hardline plans to

strengthen resources, move troops to the US southern border, and introduce detention

camps as well as mass deportations.

He's still the current Republican frontrunner for 2024, as we enter the final weeks before primary voting begins. One of his rivals for that

race, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, made it clear how he feels about Trump's

language. He's disgusting.

And what he's doing is dog whistling to Americans who feel absolutely under stress and strain

from the economy and from the conflicts around the world
