Republican presidential candidate Nicky Haley took part in a CNN town hall last night,

with the New Hampshire primary right around the corner.

During the event, Haley doubled down on comments she made earlier this week about America not being a racist country, despite the history of legal racism, including slavery.

Haley said America was founded on the idea that all men are created equal.

Did they have to go fix it along the way?

Yes, but I don't think the intent was ever that we were going to be a racist country.

She dialed up her criticism of former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden,

asking the audience whether they really wanted to have two 80 year olds running for president.

While also addressing racist dog whistles Trump has been using against her in the run up to New Hampshire.

It doesn't bother me. I know him very well and this is what he does. I know that I am a threat. I know that's why he's doing that.

Polls show Haley is much closer to Trump in New Hampshire than she was in Iowa,

with some thinking she'll benefit from the Granite State's more moderate Republican electorate.

It angers me that the tactics used were the opposite of the tactics that were appropriate in

an active shooter situation.
