Israeli forces are hammering Gaza with airstrikes, hitting hundreds of targets and reducing entire neighborhoods to rubble,

as more details of the brutality of her mass's attack on Israel comes to light.

The number of people killed in Israel has now reached over 1,200, while Palestinian officials

say at least 950 people have been killed in Gaza, where a humanitarian crisis is quickly unfolding.

Trapped residents, many of whom are cut off from food and electricity,

are facing a fourth day of Israeli airstrikes in response to Hamas's attack.
