Israel is under pressure to do more to protect civilians in Gaza,

after seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen were killed by an air strike.

Their deaths have caused international outcry and President Joe Biden criticized Israel

saying it hasn't done enough to keep people safe, pointing out that this wasn't the first time

aid workers have been killed. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the stroke was

unintentional and Israeli forces say they're investigating.

But this only adds to global outcry over the number of civilians dying in Gaza and

the Palestinian Health Ministry says nearly 33,000 people have been killed since the start of the war.

Biden is facing pressure over the deaths too.

It cannot just be rhetoric. It can't just be the president saying he's very sorry and demanding answers.

Dr Thayer Ahmad is a Palestinian-American emergency physician who travelled to Gaza early this year,

and last night he walked out of a meeting with the president in protest over his handling of the conflict.

It's been six months of incident after incident, aid organization being hit, people who are fleeing places being killed,

Palestinians who are very hungry trying to access flower convoys,

ending up in body bags.
