September 14th. President Joe Biden is hitting back against House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's

potential impeachment inquiry, saying, quote,

they want to impeach me because they want to shut down governments.

Speaking at a re-election fundraiser in Virginia, the President added, quote, I get up every day, not focused on impeachment.

That's when the United Auto Workers contracts run out, and the Union says it's looking at a targeted walkout at General Motors, Ford and Stilantis,

The union has been calling for a 40% pay increase over the next four years, among other things, and neither side of the negotiating

table seems confident a deal will be reached.
