and President Joe Biden is putting the blame on the US Congress for Ukraine having to withdraw.

The idea that now, running out of ammunition, you walk away, I find it absurd.

I find it unethical.

So I'm going to fight until we get them the ammunition they need.

Aid to Ukraine has repeatedly stalled in Congress,

with the latest attempt being $60 billion in a larger bill that passed the Senate,

but that House Speaker Mike Johnson says he

doesn't plan to bring to the floor. U.S. officials have recently expressed concern

about Russian gains in the war, suggesting it's a reflection of the slowdown in aid.

After withdrawing from Avdifka, Ukraine's army is still under pressure at several other points

along the roughly 600 mile front line.

People they are facing more potential flooding this week after heavy
