he died Monday at the age of 93

possible it happened Tuesday he died earlier this week I'm so sorry

at the age of 93 though that's great good

long life they say oh and here's Vinny he started off in the Negro leagues in

1948 and then he's yeah

William Hayes he joined the New York Giants in 1950 moved with the team here to

San Francisco where actually he played until being traded to the Mets in 1972 but that's a long career

And he's commemorated memorialized out in front there's a statue of him right out in front of the ballpark here

He is considered by many to be the greatest baseball player that ever lived

Now there are debate you know
