Hi, this is Lily DeHoyos Anderson, and you're listening to Choosing Glory.

Thank you for joining me.

We're talking about Moses 7, and again, this year I'm doing a pretty light touch on some of these chapters

that are marvelous doctrinal treasures.

So we'll point out some of that, and we get to talk about Zion a little bit today, which

is always exciting.

So first, a couple of thoughts about the chaos going on in the United States.

Right now, of course, there are lots of areas of evidence of troubles and the loss of

the light of Christ, and it's tragic to see that in a land that has been so blessed and so protected,

but we were warned as a people and there are consequences to turning away from Jehovah.

Those of us who continue to worship at his throne still have the promises wherever we are in the world

and they are eternally fulfilled.

They may not be temporally protective.

We know this.

Wonderful people who have lived from the beginning of time have sometimes been martyrs

to the cause or have dealt with all kinds

of injustice and difficulty. But God offers us through His Son Jesus Christ, our Savior,

the peace that passes understanding. And again, remember his beautiful words, not as the world giveeth, give I in to you, and then tells us to be comforted and not to be afraid, not to be troubled.

So I hope that that comes through. I hope that we see these things as the fulfillment of prophecy. We were told

things were going to be rough. They are rough, but the promises are sure. That's not faint in

these last days of tribulation, however long they lost. The Lord can sustain us, and we can seek that peace that is challenging

to receive fully, but focusing on his promises and doing what we can to receive them
