Obviously, the measure that I look at is not the headline number that's thrown out at us.

I look at something known as U6.

It is the number that economists all study because U6 takes into account people who are involuntarily part-time,

people who've given up looking for work.

In other words, it takes the whole universe of living, breathing adults and takes that number

instead of the much more narrow official number of unemployment.

That number has come down, down, down, down to the point where it's pretty clear to me

that there's a lot of opportunity for people that they're missing out on.

That you, if you're in a job that feels debt-ended, if you're in a place that you feel like you're just not getting anywhere,

that the money you're getting isn't keeping up with your life's expenses,
