The president has made it clear to his top aides in no uncertain terms.

He not only will reject any political advice that he tried to limit Hunter's public visibility,

but that he also does not want to hear any such suggestions.

People close to the president tell NBC News, keeping his son near also means keeping him safe

because Hunter is a recovering drug addict.

of this, was likely due to the claim that will be made, that all of this Hunter Biden

piffle as Democrats will likely tell you, all of this noise is because Hunter's a drug

addict, and that's why he made bad decisions.

Hunter has a problem that the crack could come back any time and get to him and Hunter

being close to Joe because we know Joe is as sharp as a razor, isn't he?

And he will keep Hunter on the straight and narrow.
