Some around 70% of independence, but Republicans 55 to 35 do support it.

55% of Republicans support it.

Right.

But two thirds of all Americans are against it.

So what I promised before the top of the hour news was that just a very brief explanation how we got to this point.

It's always been the case that if people are arrested at the border as opposed to dealt with administratively, they're separated from their children.

The Obama administration didn't arrest many people and more on the politics of that.

The Trump administration has announced a zero tolerance policy for people coming across the border.

Everybody gets arrested, which means many more children get separated from the family.

So it's a choice on enforcement.
