Mississippi State will indeed play an elimination game 6 p.m. on Monday evening,

Mississippi State versus Notre Dame to determine who goes to the college world series. I guess the big picture question is this. Has this series sort of

played out how you thought it would? Maybe not exactly how I thought it would, but I thought

both teams would get a punch in this first two games. It was just going to be really hard for me to see Mississippi State limiting that offense

in the first two games to the point where they could sweep it.
