diagnosis or just the ongoing challenges of loving and parenting a family member with

special needs.

And then maybe text them this prayer or text them a note that you're praying for them because it might be exactly what they need today.

As we begin, take a deep breath as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's prayer comes from Psalm 139, verses 13 to 14.

For you created my inmost being.

You knit me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Your works are wonderful.

I know that full well.

Let's begin by reciting God's goodness.

Lord God, you are our Creator.

And you know us best of all.

God, we praise you that there are no accidents with you. And God, you make no mistakes.

Thank you that you have a plan and a purpose for every single person born on this planet.

And thank you that you specialize in using even what is hard or disappointing,

those things that don't work out the way we expect them to.

God, thank you that in your hands, you use all of this in wonderful and mysterious ways.

So take a moment now to think on this family with special needs

and consider how is God showing his goodness toward them
