April 2nd, 2025. So about two months ago, here on the Evidentiki program, a caller was a little

perturbed. He called in and told us about a list that ESPN had put out ranking the best players

in baseball. And I told that caller, I said, who gives it to everybody ESPN in their lists?

In fact, there is no real list because there's only one best player in baseball. And it's not

even close. And his name is Aaron Judge. I want to take you back to that discussion, though,

because as I was winding up to make that point, I thought what would be a good exercise on April 2nd, 2025,

is that all of us, at the exact same time, would announce who we think is the best player in baseball.

Because I assumed you would hear this universal Aaron Judge from all the voices on our program.

Why would you not?

That didn't happen.

And I thought today, June 10th, 2025,

is a nice moment to recheck what was said here on the airwaves on April 2nd and maybe

reevaluate the conversation. So ladies and gentlemen, I bring you back to the Evan and Tiki
