Ah, that could not have gone any better.

What a second game, by the way. But for the Knowles

in the postseason, it is undefeated and on their way to Omaha for the 24th time in the

program's history. Pretty amazing to think that Florida State is in this position in such a rapid turnaround for Link, Charit, and company as it was just a year ago.

We were sitting back watching with great envy as programs all around the country, including the one just a couple hours from here,

were on their way, punching their tickets, celebrating in a way that had been a long time for

us and really lost in the wilderness is what it looked like at the time.

But for Florida State and Link Jarrett, it is now a reclamation project that is completed,

at least in terms of mattering and being back

where you think that you're in your rightful position as one of the premier college baseball

programs in the country. And now you'll go to Omaha and you'll face the number one ranked

team in the country in Tennessee, Tennessee on the season 55 and 12, but looked foulable late in the year and certainly

even in their regional against Evansville and an easy time of it yesterday.
