So this is a fresh week, and with that we're going to cover a fresh topic that is appropriate for the new beginning of a new week.

Let me ask you something,

how much do you love redemption stories? How much do you in your own life love a second

shot at something, a second chance to make something right? Well, we're going to be talking

about that all all week on the show, and today we're going to talk about God making right

those things that other

people do to us. Those choices other people make on our behalf that maybe we have no say over

that hurt or are hard and unfair. Can he really redeem even those things we feel are in many ways

unredeemable? Well, let's get into that and talk it out. So there are the times in life

that others do things to us that are not with our permission. Maybe someone left us in a marriage

and we felt we had no say because we wanted to work it out, but they weren't willing to. Or maybe we

were unfairly targeted in a situation or accused or treated poorly or ripped off. Or maybe we were

like so many listening right now, abused in some way, and we did absolutely nothing to warrant

that but are completely a victim. I often think of friends who were done

wrong at the hands of another and how helpless that feels and how wrongs that we can't make

right are some of the most maddening for our brain and heart to accept because it goes against

our nature to live with injustice. And in many ways we shouldn't.

But here are a few things I think to know about redemption and redeeming what other things

have done, and is it even possible for God to do that.

Number one, asking God to redeem what others have done to us is not the same as minimizing what people have done.
