And today I want to talk about one of those things that seemed to be in contradiction,

the ask of us to be tolerant of things and yet intolerant of things in life.

Yeah, we have to do both, but I want to frame it a little differently than in the book.

There's a lot of talk about resisting in society, particularly for women. It's a gift of our independence and our freedom. But I want us to seek God on this issue. What should we resist? What should we push back on and win? Let's talk about it.

woman to do is an interesting one because I think of the word tolerate now and it feels like

it's not enough for what I believe God has really asked us to do. To me saying I tolerated

something is more like I put up with it rather than embraced it. And I don't like that idea

when it has to do with how we deal

with people we're called to love, not just tolerate. But the reality is to tolerate also means

to endure, bear with, and accept. And that, friends, is often what we have to do with relationships

in life, especially difficult ones, in order to love
