prayers, and our heart. I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me,

which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent. Now, here's something hard. What about when

someone criticizes you or accuses you of something, sometimes very wrongly?

Well, we've all had that happen, I know.

I want to talk about what we really need when that happens, more specifically, what we really need from God.

What a joy it's been for me to do this with you every day.

I hope you're enjoying it as well. Well, we've all

been criticized, right, and it never feels any better the second or tenth or a hundredth time this

happens. Neither do we get callous to it the older we get. I hate to tell you that teens and 20

something's listening, but it's true. We may be able to maneuver it a bit better, but it hurts no matter where we are in

life, and the times that someone really jabs at us are hard to forget, aren't they?

I don't know that I'll ever forget some years ago. I got a really harsh email from someone

who was mad at me about a choice, actually my husband and I had made, and she accused me of something

that was, to be honest, pretty out there. Pretty much blamed me for the problem she had incurred

because of our decision, and she went on to threaten an action that she was going to take

against me at that time that I knew in my heart was

pretty far-fetched, but it also hit close to home, like I believe she knew that it would.

It was just an unfair email, and to be honest, it hurt me, which I know was her intent.

So I've been reading it in my driveway, actually, on my phone,

and I remember going inside and going into my office and physically kneeling down. And after
