will head to Saudi Arabia to start peace-to-keep talks with the Russian officials over Ukraine.

Fox News can confirm the National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, special envoy Steve Whitkoff, and Secretary

Marco Rubio, they will meet with Russian officials this week in Saudi Arabia to start

Ukraine peace negotiations. We also know Secretary Rubio spoke today with Russian foreign minister

Lavrov as a follow-up to President Donald Trump's conversation

with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this week.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says he does not trust that Russian President

Vladimir Putin is ready for genuine peace talks.

The Justice Department found a prosecutor willing to ask a federal judge that drop

corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Seven other prosecutors refused and resigned.

Fox is Lauren Green. You know, a lot of political fallout after the DOJs moved to dismiss

federal corruption charges against Mayor Eric Adams. And U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi saying the charges against Adams were politically motivated

in the first place.

Now, Manhattan U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon resigned over DOJ's decision to drop the charges,

claiming that the dismissal was due to playing politics and engaging in unethical quid pro quo.

Adams denies those claims.

He said in a statement that he never offered to trade his authority as mayor to end his

federal corruption case.

One prosecutor refused to drop the charges as only a fool or coward would do it.

Moscow court has ordered the 30-day detention of a U.S. citizen suspected of drug smuggling.
