You know, this is an all-hands-on-deck moment for us. This is one of the most important things we can do as a city to provide services to make sure our roads are open for emergency vehicle access and anyone that needs to use them.

So in terms of how the city went about preparing for the storm, what did that look like for you all?

We started treating our roads Friday morning, early morning, about 36 hours in advance of any accumulation falling. And so in terms of the roads,

obviously, there's no cover, but you all have been working around the clock. Georgians are paying

their respects to their former governor and president Jimmy Carter. The remains of 39th U.S. President

James Earl Carter are lying in repose at the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta and will do so

through Tuesday of this week,

after which the body will be taken to Washington to lie in state at the U.S. Capitol

and for a state funeral at Washington National Cathedral on Thursday.

Following that state funeral, Carter's body will return to Georgia on a military flight

and will motorcade to Maranatha Baptist Church in Carter's

hometown of planes and where for years he taught Sunday Bible school for a private family
