0:31.0 | Hello and welcome to another edition of Mormon Stories podcast. I'm your host John DeLin, it's November 24th, 2015, and man, it's been a busy month. |
1:00.0 | I feel like I've exceeded my podcast allotment and yet more stories keep pulling me back in. |
1:09.0 | And today's story is a familiar story to Mormon Stories listeners. If any of you were around back in July of 2012, I interviewed Bishop Bill Real. |
1:23.0 | Bill was living in Cleveland, Ohio area, the Sandusky Ward, and he was the first sitting Bishop to come on Mormon Stories and sort of face the heat of questions as a sitting Bishop. |
1:40.0 | And we talked about all sorts of stuff about how he deals with matters of sexuality, you know, in his interviews with youth, and other types of things, Mormon apologetics, etc. |

2:51.0 | And so I sort of, you know, meandered away from that explicit mission more towards either neutrality or maybe even privileging people who are transitioning away. |
3:06.0 | But Bill sort of filled in that gap. And how many episodes have you recorded, Bill? |
3:12.0 | I think we're just a little round 100, maybe 170, 175 somewhere in there. |
3:18.0 | Yeah. And it's also, so today we're going to be talking about a few things. We're going to be talking about, you know, Bill's podcast and kind of how he's transitioned since. |
3:32.0 | Also, recently there was a pretty significant dust up on Reddit about, about Bill's activities with fair, the foundation for apologetic information and research. |
