2:12.0 | This is going to be purely just information about your website. |
2:19.0 | So first let's start with talking about why what Mormon Spectrum is trying to do. |
2:30.0 | What I thought behind Mormon Spectrum was trying to figure out a way to build a compendium basically of resources and online and in-person support for three areas that we felt really strongly about that needed support which was the exploring Mormon somebody who is just becoming aware of the non-correlated church material, the official narratives. |
2:57.0 | And then somebody that would consider themselves an orthodox or nuanced progressive type Mormon and then the person who considers himself post or ex-Mormon and has left the church whether officially or still on the roles. |
3:12.0 | So we were trying to develop one spot where people would be able to come together and find all of the really cool stuff that other people have created, not that we're trying to reinvent the wheel but that we're trying to compile it all in one really easy place for people to find resources, book lists, groups, organizations, all the various online support groups in-person groups, just everything all in one spot for those groups. |
3:42.0 | Okay, and so you spot light, you know, just from the main page you spot light maybe five. Oh wow, so it's grown actually. So you've got orthodox Mormons, exploring Mormons, unorthodox Mormons, post and ex-Mormons, apologetics, LBTQ. |
4:02.0 | And it so looks like you're basically trying to provide content based on the person who might be exploring. Is that right? |
4:13.0 | Right, I mean the basic design that we was really important to us was that it would be user driven. So we wanted the user that was coming to the website to be able to select the area that they wanted to go into and the area that they go into then provides the resources. |
