remake in which from the ground up they are trying to do what the

original game did there are some tweaks here and there there are some little

additions here and there but by and large this is I would say 93 to 97% the same experience down to things that I thought

they would change that are a product of their time like the platforming is not better

there are certain elements about you know navigating you know doing a certain action-based things that are still just as clunky as they were before but they chose to be a, very literal with the remake and I respect that.

There are remakes that are spiritual like Resident Evil 4 which we'll talk about on the second half of the podcast

but this is a valid approach as well.

Yeah, no, I feel exactly.

Honestly, like I was surprised at how little they changed at so many points.

I'm like, wow, I can't believe they kept this. That was like a lot of my feeling while I was going through the remake

I love that they and especially like the style they're like they made this like new squat Mario to replicate you know kind of the original

weird squat Mario and yeah and so much of it like one of the things is like the hidden chests which they slightly like slightly made it easier but not really it's like they gave you an item you find much later on in the game they gave it to you

earlier but all it is is it tells you there's a hidden chest in the room which is

absolutely useless if you don't know where they are already. Yeah.

You have to sort of, yeah.
