Hi folks, happy Easter. Can I also say I should have put it in the last episode ahead of the big day,

but a very belated birthday, not a very, but slightly belated birthday, to the captain of the ship,

Mr Ben Backhouse, who has been with me from the very, very start of soundtracking, who makes it sound amazing. Ben, I am forever grateful for

your support, your friendship and your commitment to soundtracking. I would not have been able to

do this without you. And I hope you had a very happy birthday. But listen, let's go on to this

week's episode because it's a welcome return to soundtrack and to the wonderful David McKenzie.

Oh, what a great storyteller David is. And I also have to say David was one of the very first that we had back in 2016 as well.

But he joins us to discuss his new film, which is the heist thriller Fuse. Amazing cast in this, Theo James, Guggan, Bath, Raw, Aaron Taylor Johnson and Sam Worthington.

And what's really interesting, and you'll hear me talk to David Bowdo, is that some of these cast, you know, they're big names, but some of them have kind of really small roles in this.

But it's the want to work with David, either that for the first time or again,

that they have committed to these roles.

The film sees an unexploded bomb discovered on a very busy construction site

in the middle of London and chaos and twists and turns ensue.

It's really clever this film because you think you're kind of jumping into watch

one thing and then you realise, hold on a minute, they're doing what?

It's really beautifully and brilliantly and very cleverly put together and a real mash-up of

genres as well.

David's a great storyteller and he's one of those people I think who just kind of captivates

your attention

and gets you right into the heart of the character and the story in the world and fuses a

great example of that. And just quickly before we get on to the film, I should say that we are
