Hi, everyone. Welcome to Book Club episode. Today I am talking with Liz from Liz Gets Loaded about the book,

0:08.3

Say Goodbye to Things by Fumio Sasaki. I wanted to talk to Liz because I'll be honest, I think we

0:14.2

have similar aspirations around minimizing and similar hesitations, or at least I feel confident

0:20.4

that like me, she's thought about this a lot.

0:23.8

I know Liz has taken some serious action around wanting to live a more streamlined life,

0:29.6

and maybe I thought she would spur me into action as well.

0:33.3

I have to say I'm really excited to have this conversation about the role of things in our lives.

0:38.8

1:30.5

read this book and everybody knows everything about the book. But just in case. I confess,

1:36.7

I have shown up to a book club meeting, maybe not having completed or started the book. Not today.

1:42.4

Today I definitely have read this book three or four times, but

1:44.6

have you, I mean, you've shown up to like the girl's night just for the wine and chatting,

1:48.8

right? I'm the person who always assumes that everyone has read the book and that never

1:54.9

turns out to be true. So that's like a thing that I need to learn that like, oh, ginger. People

2:00.3

don't want to do homework.
