It's good to have you here. And Kathy and I worked together in the BAU for over a decade.

Anyway, today we're going to be talking about a case that a lot of, a lot of noise on the net about this case.

And basically, it's from the UK where a guy who was convicted, a 19-year-old man who was convicted of raping a 12-year-old girl, three counts of rape, was sentenced to no jail time.

And everybody was an uproar about it.

Right, because he was 19 at the time.

But the simple fact is, she's a child under 13.

She cannot consent, right? Under the law, it's a child under 13. She cannot consent, right?

Under the law, it's a statutory crime.

She's not consent to have consent.

So, you know, then we always vet any articles that we see and do some research, and you found something else out, didn't you, Kathy?

Yes, that he actually was sentenced.
