If this is your first time here, this is a show where I interview artists of all kinds about the first experiences in their art form that led them to where they are today. And I am currently coming

to you from inside my band's tour van. We are playing in Baltimore, Maryland. We actually

already played tonight. And there is just nowhere in this venue that is quiet so i am uh hiding in the van

we are parked between two dumpsters so uh i'm just trying to set the set the set the mood for

for uh the life i'm living right now um but yeah i'm it's uh everything's good i'm having fun on the

road uh it's been a little bit of a challenge trying to juggle the podcast as well as be on the road. But hey, this is what I signed up for. It's all good. I am excited to tell you about my guest today. My guest is Steve Hernandez. He is a comedian and a, I'm going to call him a professional podcaster. He has several podcasts. He's been doing it for

over 10 years. I felt the urge to get Steve on the show in particular because he has a brand new

podcast that I love a lot. It's really fun. It's really enjoyable. It's called Read the Bible with me with Steve Hernandez.

You'll hear all about Steve's background with religion. He was a he was a part of a mega church and he left the church.

And so this is a, the podcast is coming from the point of view of someone who's a non-believer, but has a lot of love and respect for the actual Bible. It's a very fascinating podcast, and he's a comedian, so you can imagine it's very funny. He also does a show called Vues from the Vista, which is a movie podcast, which I've been a guest on twice. It's wonderful. Also has a show called The Male Gays,

as well as Who's Your God with Amy Miller, which he's the co-host of. I had been a guest on the podcast

on that podcast as well. That was actually the first time I met Steve. And for any Tushay-Mory

fans out there, Steve played the bartender in the limelight video.
