It's the most wonderful time of the year to donate to charities, and if you do so early on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, your funds could be 100% matched by Meta (Facebook). Listen for details! Because Facebook (Meta) is matching up to $8 million to charity fundraisers on their site on Giving Tuesday. The first $2 million donated 100%, and for the next $6 million raised -- the matching drops to 10%. So donate early and $10 could = a $20 donation to your favorite charity. Donate a bit later, and that $10 becomes only $11. Wait to long, and it's just $10. Remember, Facebook covers the 3% credit card fees too -- so 100% of your money goes to the charity, plus a big bump from Meta / Facebook! 0:05.1	just in time for Giving Tuesday, which is tomorrow, November 30th, 2021.
0:10.3	You see, charities the world over rely on contributions from supporters on big giving days like
0:16.5	Giving Tuesday. In fact, Whole Whale has predicted that this year, over $3 billion will be raised on
0:24.0	giving Tuesday alone. If we hit this mark, it will be a 27% increase over last year's record of
0:30.6	$2.4 billion. Think of all the good that that money could do. So in honor of giving Tuesday, I'm going to clue you in
0:39.5	to a matching fund that Facebook is set aside. Beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday,
0:46.0	November 30th, that's tomorrow as I release this. They will allocate $8 million in matching funds
0:52.6	to qualifying charities. So who qualifies? Any registered 501c3 with a
0:58.0	fundraiser on the Facebook platform. First, they're going to match 100% of the first $2 million.
1:05.4	If you donate $10, they will also donate $10. For that remaining $6 million, they will match 10%. So if you were to
1:14.6	donate $10, MEDA will donate one. So I'm going to encourage you to make that donation on Tuesday,
1:22.5	giving Tuesday, and I'm highlighting one particular charity that's working to raise funds through a Facebook
1:28.0	fundraiser right now.
1:29.8	If you make a donation first thing on Tuesday morning, and that's at 5 a.m. Pacific, really
1:35.5	early for me, but I plan to set my alarm and make a contribution at 5 a.m. so that those funds
1:41.5	will be doubled.
1:42.9	Facebook or meta will essentially give double the power to the donation that I make.
1:49.0	The matching fund will go fast.
1:51.8	So if you're planning to make a donation, set your alarm for the first thing Tuesday morning.
1:56.0	If you're on the East Coast, that's going to be way easier.
1:58.0	It'll be 8 a.m. for you.
