The Hi, welcome to Lewis Black's Rantcast, New York Comic-Con edition, a very, very special edition of the Lewis Black Rantcast, because I have been asked by the New York Comic-Con to do a virtual rantcast. That's what I'm doing because the folks at New York Comic-Con,

due to the, you know what we're going through now,

I won't be mentioning its name, I'll leave it to others,

are going to be doing a virtual Comic-Con.

I mean, that's the way things are now.

And so I, much like I normally would be in front of an audience,

am playing to the virtual audience that's in my head.

And it's a pleasure to be with you all.

And I take great joy in sharing with you the joys, the highs, the lows, the moans,

the grifes, the bitches that you will be hearing from the folks who go to the New York

Comic-Con each year. And so we begin with Steve Kidd from Allendale, New Jersey. I love going to New York

Comic-Con and have gone every year since it began in 2006. It pains me that I won't be able to

attend physically this year because of this stupid pandemic. There's a lot I'll miss this year.

I'll miss the amazing panels on site at the Javitt Center,

the incredible professional cosplays,

and the wonderful signings and booths.

What I won't miss, however,

are the long lines for certain special booths and experiences, and especially the

off-site panels at Madison Square Garden, which are usually the highest profile ones.

I'd really want to attend. If they were at the actual convention center, you bet your sweet

ass I'd be there, but new, I have to walk a quarter of the
