Hey there, friends. This is your host, Tom, or Robots, and this isn't a normal intro because I missed this week. I was out of town on a trip. I went to the Elder Scrolls online. It's not really a convention. It was like a get-together and big announcement thing over in Las Vegas this last week. So I haven't had time to do a regular

episode. But I'd wanted to put something out for you anyway. So I thought I would pull from

some of our bonus episodes because we have so many of them at this point. And I've actually

taken two. I'm giving you a look into the 1964 interview

with J.R.R. Tolkien

and some of the

things that he's commented about. You can look up

It's pretty simple. But

these are the first two episodes

I've done this. I've done it in multiple parts because

the interview is fairly long. And you're going to hear the professor in his own voice answer

questions after the popularity, the initial popularity of the Lord of the Rings and the books

that he had published at the time. And you're going to hear some of my comments on this. And there are two episodes in one. So this will be a little bit longer. When the first one ends,

it'll roll right over into the second. So I hope you enjoy this. This is a glimpse of some of the

extra content that's out there if you're interested in checking that out. Also, speaking of

patron stuff, while I've got you real quick, I'm not going to do any of the readouts for the new patrons.

I'm going to hold that over until next week, so we won't have a mid break, a common mid mid break.
