So, Kathy, we have a case that unfortunately brings back memories of a number of cases that we

So the case we're going to discuss today, Jim, is the case of Melody Buzzard.

She's a missing nine-year-old girl.

She was reported missing on October 14th by her school, who said that she had extended absences.

And she was apparently enrolled in a remote school program, which makes it even more

difficult, I think, to try to ascertain exactly where she was and when she locked in.

She was supposedly being homeschooled, but she's supposed to check in all the time.

And she hasn't checked in.

Nobody's actually seen her there for over a year.

Yeah, it's really sad.

And it's her mother, Ashley Buzzard, who has been sort of isolating her from the rest of the world.

And recently, Melody's grandmother has sort of stepped forward

and started talking about the strange behavior of Ashley Buzzard. Yeah. In fact, she has tried to,

the paternal grandparents had tried to gain custody of Melody recently, which makes all of these circumstances more disturbing,

right? All of a sudden, now she's missing. And the investigating agency is the Santa Barbara
