I'm Brad Listy.

I'm in Los Angeles.

It's good to be with you.

I hope you're well. I have Elvia Wilk on the program today.

She has a novel out on Soft Skull Press. It is called Oval. It is a work of speculative fiction.

And it has been generating a lot of rave reviews. So we had a great talk, Elvia Wilk,

coming up in just a bit. I do want to say a few closing words about the recent transcript fundraiser.

That ended, you know, just a few days ago, wound up being a big success, sold some t-shirts, raised some

money, and the transcript process is fully underway. A lot of you out there have volunteered

to transcribe. It's going to be kind of a piecemeal approach. I'm going to pay for some

transcripts out of pocket. The fundraiser is going to cover some of it.

And then listeners have been volunteering to transcribe an episode or more.

And that process is ongoing.

So if you're listening, there's not like a deadline.
