It's good to have workplace friends,

but also understand that especially when leaders

overshare personal information, when they should be focused on work,

it's often perceived as weakness, lack of focus, and confused priorities.

And your workplace friends that you're sharing this with are also potential

competitors for promotions, resources, and opportunities.

And not everyone plays nice when vying for the same thing when they have this sort of information.

So be wise, as Proverbs 1728 says, even a fool when he keeps silent is

considered wise. When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent. Thank you.
