But there's a certain point of the year when you can tell that it's just getting darker and darker outside.

And I love that because it also means that our never-ending hellscape that is Austin, Texas in the summer, might be giving us a slight reprieve.

111 degrees the other day?

Today it was 107.

Yeah, the reprieve is 103.

Well, nonetheless, I was driving here and it was getting dark around 815. I was like, oh, good. That means it's just going to keep getting darker and darker until we hit the daylight savings, whatever. But on top of that, it was really windy out. The leaves were falling. So it just felt like autumn. visually.
