Hi friends. How are you? It's Friday. I know, like, wait a minute, what are you doing here? Well, I know I said I was going to go easy on you with the old bonus Epps in 2026, but hey, like all the best New Year's resolutions, that's all gone up this one.

Because there are simply too many great movies, too many brilliant creative people that I want to talk about around their films, their music, that at the minute, to cover in just one soundtrack in a week, it's not possible.

Case in point, Pillion, you might have seen about this film, believe all the

hype, written and directed by our latest guest, Harry Leighton. I have to say thank you to

Harry, who responded to my kind of random pleas on email and found the time before heading across the Atlantic

to be swooned by the Americans and celebrate the response that his film is also having over

there. But the film is a breath of fresh air. It's brave. It's funny. It's honest. It's real. And I just loved it. I thought it was great.

It tells the story of a timid gay man played by Harry who enters into a, how shall I say this?

An interesting relationship with an enigmatic biker played by

Alexander Scarsgaard. As I said, this film is just a breath of fresh air. It's a queer

rom-com, but with real context and it feels like we're seeing a side of this community that we

haven't seen portrayed in this way. And thankfully at last, Harry Lighten is doing that. It's scored by

the wonderful Oliver Cote, who we really must get on the show. Fear not, I've been emailing in
