0:05.6	You know, a lot of times I get people reaching out to me and saying that they're struggling
0:15.1	with their life or their business.
0:17.9	They tell me different things that are holding them back, the challenges to make more money,
0:23.5	challenges in their relationships, challenges with their family.
0:26.8	And so today, we're covering about how to build self-confidence with Jordan Harbinger.
0:36.1	One of the sort of common misconceptions is that our first impressions that we make on
0:41.2	other people are the first thing that we say or the first interaction that we have.
0:45.4	And that sounds reasonable when you're thinking about making a good first impression with

0:52.3	However, what we know from science and what we know, and I'll back up and prove this real
0:56.4	quick, is that our first impression is not made when we open our mouth, it's made when
1:00.0	we become a blip on the other person's radar.
1:03.3	And so what I mean by that is our perception of other people, and this is evolutionary
1:09.6	psychology 101 here, is that we do snap judgments of people based on what we see.
1:15.8	And we have to do that.
1:16.8	It's a safety thing.
1:17.8	Women are 10,000 times better at this than men.
1:19.7	That's not a scientific measurement.
1:21.2	Because they have a safety question that is just the elephant in the room.
