Yeah. No. So I was sick for like four days. I basically slept through them. I had to cancel a podcast,

but I felt bad. But I woke up and J.D. Vance killed the Pope. Yeah. That's the first story.

That was a weird thing to wake up to. I got to tell you, buddy. Because I turned on my little Roku and it said remembering Pope Francis. And I was like,

Mikey is the Pope. And he goes, yeah, J.D. Vance killed him. I was like, dope.

And then slept for 12 hours.

One chat with J.D. Vance. And the Pope's like, get me off this planet. This is now a true crime podcast.

Oh, finally. crime podcast. That's how this works. Yeah. So here's the thing that upset me most about all the

Pope Francis coverage. Is that everybody forgot he's a dick? Everybody. That's how death works.

You're surprised every time somebody dies and people are reverent. This is accurate. Because you don't

have human emotions. The first thing that came to mind is how everyone seems to treat George W. Bush, like,

you know what? Things were great when he was around. It's like, no, no, I was conscious. I was

conscious when he was around. It was not great. Nostalgia's toxic impulse that we all have.

And it, I was just talking, I just ran into a buddy of mine who I used to work with back in my

Brafton writing days when I was like at a, like a stable writer or whatever.
